Regular cleaning and polishing of your boat’s hull can be one of the habits that gives you that extra speed through the water. McLube Hullkote is the go-to speed polish for all sailors wanting a clean and fast race-ready bottom on their boat. Hullkote can last up to 20 days below the waterline, and being citrus based, is environmentally friendly.
Applying Hullkote is quick and easy:
- Rinse off your hull with fresh water to make sure there’s no dirt or grit that could scratch the surface.
- Shake the bottle well
- Smear a small cloth with the green Hullkote and rub into the surface using a circular motion.
- You can wipe away any visible excess Hullkote using a clean, dry cloth.
- If it’s your first time, apply 2 coats for the best results
- That’s all! Just make sure any excess Hullkote is wiped away and you’re ready to race.
TIP: If you’re applying Hullkote on a hot day, start with a damp cloth and then add Hullkote for easing rubbing.
